Summary:
As a Commi 2, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of various dishes under the supervision of a Chef. You will be expected to follow recipes, assist in food preparation, and maintain a clean and organized work station.
Job Responsibility:
· Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping.
· Follow recipes accurately while maintaining high-quality standards.
· Cook and plate dishes as instructed by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
· Ensure that food preparation areas are clean and sanitized.
· Assist in receiving and storing food supplies.
Candidate Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Commis Chef or relevant position.
· Knowledge of various cooking techniques and culinary terminology.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Understanding of food safety practices.
· Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is a plus.
